How does a Disney Cruise Line Character Call work?

Follow these instructions to schedule your call:
  1. Select the Disney Character you want to hear from.
  2. Schedule a Character Call for most recipients by simply entering the information requested.
  3. Get alternative instructions for recipients with area codes in Idaho, Washington, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nebraska, Tennessee and Louisiana, since the schedule feature is not available for their phones.

How far in advance can I schedule a Character Call?

You can schedule a call up to one year ahead of your cruise departure date.

Can I reschedule or cancel a Character Call?

If you missed your Character Call, we’ll send you an email with 2 links. To reschedule, click the "Reschedule" link, enter the code we provide, and then schedule another Character Call. If you want to cancel your Character Call, simply click "Cancel."

Will I receive a reminder that my Character Call is coming?

You’ll receive a confirmation email when you schedule your call. Be sure to save it for future reference.

How much time is there between picking up the phone and when the message begins?

After you pick up the phone for your Character Call, you have 40 seconds to get your child or gather your family. Then tap "1" to initiate the message.

I scheduled a Character Call and it didn’t come through. What happened?

If no one received the call, perhaps you gave us a wrong phone number. Or maybe your caller ID rejected it.

Will the Character Call be pre-recorded?

All Disney Cruise Line Character Calls are pre-recorded.
