How does it work?
It’s super simple to schedule a call!
1. Select a call theme.
Choose a call theme from the main menu on the home page (or the left side of any other page). You’ll be taken to a page where you can see the actual text from the call. TOP

Review the call and personalize it.
All calls can be personalized with the child’s name and more. Read the call text and click each option box to choose what Santa will say. If you don’t know what to pick, we’ll use the first option on each list.TOP

When you click the “Done! Schedule My Call” button we’ll provide you with a page to fill in their names and phone numbers.TOP

3. Schedule your call.
When you’re ready, click “Done! Schedule My Call” to arrange your call.
Simply enter the date, time, and phone number to call. You can then proceed to the checkout. TOP

How much does it cost?
The cost per call is just $4.99. TOP

When will I be charged for my call?
You will be billed for all scheduled calls after you complete the checkout process. Please note that once you have completed the checkout process, the call(s) cannot be cancelled. They can, however, be rescheduled as often as you need, up to 1 hour before your scheduled time.TOP

How far ahead can I schedule a call?
You can schedule a call up to one year ahead. If you need to reschedule it, you can do so up to 1 hour before your scheduled time. Your confirmation e-mail will have instructions for rescheduling, so be sure to save it.TOP

How can I reschedule a call?
All calls may be rescheduled (date, time or location) up to 1 hour prior to your scheduled time. We'll send you a confirmation e-mail with instructions for rescheduling when your call is purchased.TOP

Will I receive a reminder that the call is coming?
After you complete the checkout process, you'll receive a confirmation e-mail that has instructions for rescheduling the call. Be sure to save it for future reference.TOP

If I buy a call for someone else's child, how will they know to expect the call?
If you schedule a call for someone else's child, you can enter the e-mail address of their parent on the Schedule Your Call page. We'll send them notification of the call so they'll know when to expect it. The e-mail will also contain instructions for rescheduling the call. IMPORTANT: If you choose not to have us send a notification e-mail, please notify them yourself so they don't miss their call from Santa!TOP

How long will the child have to get to the phone when the call comes in?
When your call from Santa arrives, the child will have 40 seconds from the time the phone is answered to initiate her call with Santa by pressin the number "one" on the phone. The person who answers the phone will be reminded twice during the waiting time that the time limit is approaching. If the 40 second time limit is exceeded, the call will be terminated. The call fee is still incurred. You must press "one" to initiate your call.TOP

What happens if the call is missed?

Remember that all calls may be rescheduled (date, time or location) up to 1 hour prior to your scheduled time. When your call is purchased, we'll send you a confirmation e-mail with instructions for rescheduling. If you schedule a call (whether for your child or someone else's child) and our system can't complete the call, the call fee is still incurred. Reasons a call can't be completed are:
· Busy. If the line is busy, our system will make one additional attempt within 3 minutes from the original call.
· No answer. If the phone isn't answered (i.e., no one is home or call waiting beep tone is disregarded), our system will make one additional attempt within 5 minutes from the original call.
· Rejected. If someone answers the phone and chooses not to accept the call from Barbie, our system will make one additional attempt within 5 minutes from the original call.
· Answering machine. If an answering machine picks up the call and it is not answered before it begins recording, the call will be considered complete and no other attempt will be made.
· Unreachable. If the number provided to us was incorrect or cannot be reached (i.e., disconnected), our system will make one additional attempt within 5 minutes from the original call.TOP
